Lassie and her best friend Flo return to the big screen in a heart-pounding new adventure, making new friends along the way. They spend their summer holidays at Flo’s childhood camp where the 17-year-old now navigates his new responsibilities as a camp supervisor. Meanwhile, Lassie bonds with a new companion, Nova, a quiet 10-year-old outsider. Together, they embark on an exhilarating journey, encountering a real bear, whom they name Hannibal, inspired by a campfire legend. They also face dubious hunters, corrupt police, the mean and greedy antagonist Mrs. Brenner, and a colorful and fun bunch of animals, including a barbary ape, a chameleon, a raccoon, a royal python, an eagle owl, an otter, a meerkat, a skunk, and a penguin — all of whom are at risk. In a thrilling chase, Lassie and her friends free the animals and save Hannibal.
