EPSILON FILM is a joint venture between Alice von Einem and Julia Weber, two senior executives, and the BETA FILM Group, based in Munich Germany. The world sales company has focused on family entertainment and brand-based content. They scout for and participate in projects at the earliest stage and have a close hands-on approach during development, financing and production to acquire and produce high-quality and commercially appealing feature films. Epsilon´s strength is to create synergies through Beta Film’s outstanding TV sales division, production companies, distribution entities, and service providers, and its extensive international network.
At its first three markets since its founding — the Marché du Film in Cannes and AFM in Las Vegas in 2024, followed by the EFM in Berlin in 2025 —EPSILON FILM made a strong debut with a high-quality lineup of features. Highlights include brand-new animation title DREAMERS – THE HUNT FOR SHADOWCLAW, an action-packed chase through New York, THE AMAZING MAURICE 2, based on the beloved books by Sir Terry Pratchett, NESSIE JUNIOR starring the world’s favorite sea monster, BRAVE HEART YAKARI, based on the popular 'Yakari' brand and MIMI AND HAROLD – OUT OF FRAME, an original title from Ulysses Filmproduktion.
In addition to its animated slate, Epsilon also presents LASSIE AND THE WILD BEAR, featuring the only dog with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the UK Sky Original production ROBIN AND THE HOODS, starring Naomie Harris and Gwendoline Christie. Furthermore, the company handles global rights for Germany’s biggest box office hit of the past five years: the live-action adaptations of the bestselling book series THE SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS, parts 3 and 4.
