Yakari enjoys a peaceful life among the Lakota under the watchful eye of Great Eagle, his animal protector who gifted him the ability to speak with animals. But when his friend Buffalo-Seed is left in a deep coma after the attempt to capture a bison on his own, Yakari and Rainbow are determined to save him. They discover that his friend is watched over by a powerful animal protector of his own: the giant bison Tathanka. Only Tathanka may have the power to bring their friend back to life, but the animal protector refuses to appear. To find him, Yakari must embark on his most dangerous adventure yet and uncover a secret that could change the destiny of his tribe forever.

This new Yakari adventure is carried by the magic of the animal protectors and the power of friendship. From the producers of “The Garfield Show” and the director of “Yakari – A Spectacular Journey”. Yakari is a strong brand which has been widely distributed around the world since the 1980s and already won over a large international audience far beyond the borders of the Great Plains. Yakari is a humanist saga of a rare richness, and its values still resonate today like the distant echo of a lost paradise.

BRAVE HEART YAKARI will be released by Wild Bunch in Germany and by PAN Distribution in France.
